Outstanding Young Alumni The following graduates from each of the eight colleges are being honored as outstanding young alumni for their professional achievements. Reunions and events Civil War Weekend, March 17-19 The ninth annual Civil War Weekend will once again feature Alumni Distinguished Professor James I. Robertson Jr. Also back, yet again by popular demand, is Brian Steel Wills, associate professor of history at Clinch Valley College. Joining them will be Craig Symonds from the U.S. Naval Academy, who will speak about the sea battles of the Civil War. Early registration is encouraged. The fee of $125 includes all materials, instruction, and meals. Hillcrest Co-ed Reunion, March 24-25 Medical Professionals Reunion, April 14-15 (Alumni who later earned M.D. and D.D.S. degrees.)
